01 CURRENTLY CONSIDERING:
It’s cold. People are on a level of edge and honestly I feel like apathy is at an all time high and motivation is even more difficult to come by. In times like these CURATING the energy and content you consume is of the utmost importance to not only protect your mental health but also keep your heart as light as possible. I find listening to motivational audios, reading empowering words and surrounding my consumption of content with UPLIFTING and POSITIVE intentions has helped me keep my eyes on what matters and my heart and head in a healthier place.
The team at NKO CLUB has been creating some absolute KNOCKOUT content…consider giving it a follow to lift the spirits of your social media feed and remind you who the hell you are, especially on the tough days. 02 NUTRITION:
If there is a way I share my love with people it’s often through food, particularly food that can be both DELICIOUS and nutrient-dense. So while I’ll continue to share recipes here, some of the favorites, the snack tips and more will also live on the NKO Kitchen IG account so you can easily save and share your favorites (*cough* until one day I have the time to finally put it all in a cookbook for y’all cough)
Enjoy the Protein-Forward 30 min Homemade Bagels below…
EASY PROTEIN BAGEL
INGREDIENTS: makes 6
-2 cups bread flour
-2 cups plain Greek yogurt
-2 tsp baking powder •
-1 tbs salt
-egg wash, seasoning for toppings
INSTRUCTIONS:
set oven to 400
in a mixing bowl combine flour, yogurt, baking powder, and 1-2 pinches of salt.
mix with a rubber spatula as much as you can until a ball forms
sprinkle flour onto counter knead the dough for a few minutes
cut into 6 equal pieces
roll each piece long and shape into bagel (pinch the dough together to form circle)
place onto parchment lined baking tray
Paint egg wash on top with seasonings
a little parchment roll in each one to prevent the "hole" from closing up
bake for 10 minutes, remove parchment, then heat down to 350 and REMOVE parchment, cook for another 15 min then broil for 5-6 minutes until they're golden on top.

lululemon CRUSHED it with the glow-up tight…I was asked to product test it about 6 months ago and after many sweaty gym workouts I can say these leggings are truly game-changing and SO flattering. I love a high waist especially when I want extra support while lifting heavy and wanting to still feel “snatched”…they do the trick. Lots of cool, interesting new fabrics and pieces are linked!
Also, I just started my ShopMy account (similar to LTk but honestly easier to create posts) and testing out by sharing a post with some of my favorite fits from my time in Seattle (minus norovirus)!
