discipline + grace
staying on track but also honoring your limits? its difficult. however, in such a period of whirlwind transition, secretly building two businesses behind the scenes that candidly scare me to my core at times- I have learned the only thing that can provide peace, is staying moving. look, everyday is NOT a pr. in fact its the rule of thirds:
1/3 of the time you are thriving in achievement, 1/3 of the time is just-blah/ neutral/ average, and the final 1/3…well you feel like quitting, like progress isn’t happening or that you are in a losing streak and might never win.
society today ( social media especially ) all is edited/ doctored/ attention-seeking hooks makes it seem like the only way to win is by being in the “top 1/3” at all times. do these five things and you’ll be “x”, make “x” content and you’ll be valuable, “be more more more more so you can be happy!!!” well, sorry, but they are all full of 💩.
the real win comes from the little, 1% better everyday, or shoot, maybe just keeping the small promise to yourself daily kind of moment. i.e. you would write down something you are grateful for daily or make your bed every morning or just stop saying that favorite four letter word so much… lol
essentially, discipline isn’t fulfilling in the moment most of the time…but its like compound interest: you grow exponentially both emotionally and physically when you keep the promise you made to yourself.
to me, that’s the highest form of self love. don’t beat yourself up about it, but do it because you know you deserve that kind of commitment and love.

03 NUTRITION:
These “better than the box mix” from-scratch pancakes are sure to please even the pickiest of eaters! Fluffy, filled with flavor and with ~8 g of protein per serving, getting a little more protein in a pancake is never a bad idea! Serve with turkey bacon and some fresh fruit for a lovely balanced brekkie with protein & fiber at the helm. 🙌✨
PREP COOK SERVES (4-5 pancakes each) | PROTEIN |
Ingredients:
2 cups @good _culture cottage cheese
4 eggs eggs
1/4 cup milk of choice
2 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 cup flour
3 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt , pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
-Add your cottage cheese, eggs, milk, melted butter, and maple syrup to a blender. Blend on medium speed until combined/ thin.
-In another bowl add your flour, baking powder and a dash of salt & cinnamon. Then add your blended cottage cheese mixture and whisk until combined.
-Heat up a skillet on medium low heat, grease with avocado oil or butter and add your batter. Flip once you see bubbles start to form on the surface.
-Cook until golden brown on both sides.
Makes 12 pancakes (can store extras in a freezer safe container for up to a month, up to 4 days in fridge)
