01 CURRENTLY CONSIDERING:
E X P A N S I O N: Why Stretching Your Limits MattersâŚ
Growth is inherently uncomfortable. It asks us to tredge through new territories and be faced with wave after wave of uncertainty and just when you feel like you are making some progress, itâs as if you feel overwhelmed again by the mountain you are trying to climb. Welcome to my personal spiral these past few weeks feeling as if progress
As Iâve shared in classes MANY time:
DONâT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU THINK.
Part of building a new neural-pathway and expanding to higher levels of ourselves is the self-judgment and almost paralyzing doubt that comes with reaching for something new, but thatâs just the realm directly outside of your comfort zone. So, if you too are finding that inner critic is louder than usual, aka me this past week with starting a completely empty YouTube channel upon more things, remember these few things:
1) Uncertainty & some stress are GOOD for reaching beyond your comfort zone.
2) Set actionable goals. (bedtimes, time blocks, scheduled 10 min of movement, jounaling) and watch how your self-confidence rises with those little wins.
3) Be accountable to yourself. While itâs easier to put others needs before our own, self confidence truly grows when we keep the promises we make to ourselves. Start small, like making the bed every morning, and
4) Be Your Own Cheerleader! Yup, I mean it. Every promise kept to yourself mentally or audibly say âI am proud of myselfâ or âI am the GOATâ or whatever ultra-hype self talk verbiage that will help you shine. Winning the mental game is like building strength: you have to keep those muscles growing with consistent use.
5) Give yourself grace. When the day doesnât go as planned, or the cold-weather and constant negativity on the internet and news are messing with your head, allow yourself time to be affected. Tune out, tune into yourself and LITERALLY give yourself a hug. Taking physical comforting action helps settle the âfight or flightâ response and ground us back into the good of the present moment.

TIMEBLOCKING: An ADHD Mindâs Fave Weapon
After trying multiple organizational strategies that just WERENâT working for me and feeling like I would always be a mental tornado, I stumbled upon this YouTube video that changed the game for organizing my day with so many moving parts: creating an âIDEAL WEEKâ calendar helped take the OVERWHELM of so many tasks, business needs and general life management and place those must-doâs in reasonable buckets.
sneak peek into my weekly âIDEALâ time blocks:

Creating an IDEAL WEEK calendar helps make time for the things that matter most!
03 FITNESS: Pilates Roundup
Yet another win for Gen Z is their fervor and passion for all things pilates. Now while sure the outfits are cute and the pilates-core style is taking over the streets sometimes the form and function gets overshadowed by âit-girlâ energy (pilates is for EVERYONE by the way- no need to have flashbacks to mean girls in high school). Trends aside, there is no denying is a wonderful and low-impact way to move the body and increase mobility.
While I am not going to endorse the âall I do is pilates and walk and my body is the best itâs ever lookedâ (often genetics and predominately AGE play a large factor in that result), incorporating Pilates into your weekly schedule with consistency will help you slow down, build a better posture and range of motion, build mind muscle connections essential for physical development, increase circulation (especially to the nether regions đ) and create balance in an often over-stressed workout split.
Some of my favorite Pilates workouts Iâve shared are below- no equipment needed and easily done from home. Try these out this week and see how you feel after!
